Any time, and after a sin

Seeking forgiveness: every dhikr, with a counter

Istighfar: asking Allah’s forgiveness, which the Prophet ﷺ asked more than seventy times a day (Sahih al-Bukhari 6307).

Tap the number under each dhikr every time you say it. It turns to “Done” at the count the book gives. 0 of 7 done today.

More than seventy times a day

O people, turn to Allah

The Prophet ﷺ said: O people, turn to Allah in repentance, for I turn to Him a hundred times a day.

Astaghfirullahal-‘azimal-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal-hayyul-qayyum

The Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever says “I ask forgiveness of Allah the Almighty, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all, and I turn to Him in repentance” is forgiven, even if he has run away from battle.

In the last part of the night

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Lord is nearest to His servant in the last part of the night, so if you can be one of those who remember Allah at that hour, then be one.

A hundred times a day

Wudu, two rak‘ahs and asking forgiveness
